London and southern England
London and southern England are among the milder parts of the UK. Spring, summer and early autumn are usually comfortable for sightseeing, parks, walking routes and day trips.
Rain is possible at any time, so a light waterproof jacket or umbrella is useful even during favorable months.
Scotland and the Highlands
Scotland can be cooler, wetter and windier than southern England, especially in the Highlands and islands.
